In Memoriam

Our Matriarch went to be with our heavenly Father on December 28, 2016. She was born November 4, 1921, in Cosenza, Italy. She would live 95 incredible and fulfilling years, beginning in Italy and ending in America surrounded by her loving family: seven children, 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

She was the daughter of Annunziata Bonofiglio and Luigi Gallo. She married Mario Baldino on September 29, 1946. Together they immigrated to the United States in 1960.

RITA (GALLO) BALDINO

A talented seamstress, cook, and baker, Rita was our rock. She treasured her faith and family above all else and taught us to stay close and maintain our traditions. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mario Baldino. She is survived by her sisters, Emilia (Gallo) Serra, and Ida (Gallo) Serra and her children: Filomena "Mena" (Sostine) Castriciano, Luigi "Gino" (Irene) Baldino, Silvana (Dennis) Dann, Marianne (Patrick) Dion, Loredana (Charles) Dion, Julianna (Mark) Ankney, and Robert (Maria) Baldino.
