In Memoriam

Henry Harold Strieff Lansing Age 92, went to be with The Lord, Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. Henry was born in Flint, MI, the son of Peter and Fern (McKinney) Strieff. The family moved to Owosso, MI, from 1925-1942. Hank enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1942 and served in the South Pacific until 1945. He retired from Oldsmobile (BOC) in 1980 after a 34 year career. Hank was a member of the Lansing Delta Lions Club, Lansing Italian-American Club and a member of St. Mary Cathedral Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 47 years, Cecilia (Tillie); brother, Eddie Strieff; sister, Gertrude Strieff; step daughter, Judy Foster and 3 grandchildren. Hank is survived by his loving children, Terry (Kathy) Strieff, Trena (Bob) White and Dawn Brown; stepchildren, Thomas (Donna) Hasbany and Sara (Daniel) Miller; brother in law, Ben (Doris) Rassizi; sister in law, Angie Campbell; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces nephews and friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Thursday, April 20, 2017, 1:30 PM at St. Mary Cathedral with Rev. Msgr. George Michalek as celebrant. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends, Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 3-7 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel where a rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue at the church from 1:00 - 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Cathedral, Leader Dog for the Blind or Sparrow Foundation in memory of Henry.
